Transitioning into my Winter wardrobe is much easier when I incorporate simple & basic pieces from my Fall closet then add classic neutrals. Think, champagne, camel, tan, and yes, even *beige*! Last weekend I paired my Fall boots with a long sleeve, leggings, and this cute, mod vest from Gainni Bini.
Since Winter was on it’s way in, we decided to get out for some tea and Scrabble. Steep – Leaf Lounge quickly became one of my favorites this year after a girls trip to the Grand Canyon, so we drove on up for Rick to accept defeat as he cozied up to his favorite matcha. P.S. Their matcha and peppermint tea is to die for! #forreals
I tend to stay away from yellows and oranges once that extra cold seasons hit. Layering in white instead always makes my outfits feel fresh and crisp again. Black also tends to add some sophisticated drama for me, and I love matching it with red, green, gold, and even holiday blue once Christmas approaches.
If you’re heading to, or close to Flagstaff, Arizona, be sure to make a pit stop for this cozy cafe. They have a variety of pastries too that easily go along with a game of UNO! You can even buy an ounce or two to take home and enjoy later.
Walking downtown you’ll find a variety of shops. For lunch or dinner, we recommend Karma sushi anytime! Click HERE to discover the best soap shop for miles around! They have the loveliest, loveliest French and local handmade soaps for the home. And HERE to shop a few similar outfits for your Winter wardrobe if you’re thinking of making a few rounds in this chilly lil’ community.
How do you warm up for the Winter? Boots with the fur? Scarves everyday? Share your favorite Winter find here or on Insta! I love to find new favorites.
