A Day in My Backyard: Gilbert, Arizona

Never have I ever hiked around Arizona in only a sports bra – until Outdoor Voices made this amazing black and white polka-dot set! I had first decided to try Outdoor Voices when stumbling upon their shop during our D.C. trip last Fall. Outdoor Voices prides themselves on empowering every women, every where to get outdoors and celebrate their healthiest, happiest selves. That mission alone made me want to buy everything in the store! Alas, Ricky ripped the debit card from my white-knuckled hands just as I carried 17 items up to the checkout. But, I was still so happy to leave OV with this dynamic duo.

Needless to say, we did break a little bit of a sweat. I did more so from all the laughing due to the accident mentioned in this picture above. Lucky for me, my sweat- wicking outfit with TechSweat technology kept me cool, even though my husband did get a tad bit heated. * Don’t worry! Two deep breathes later, and he was as good as new!

We ended our visit strolling along the free and easy trail of the preserve. Hopping into the car, I almost forgot I was wearing workout clothes. I can’t wait to take my new friends to the gym with me this week. Their extra soft fabric, and super comfortable fit will help me focus more on #DoingThings I love. And probably, also more, on stepping into 2019 in all the right directions.
