Beautiful things boost my energy. And we all need a little spark of rejuvenation at the end of a long week, which is exactly why we recently decided to do date night at one of the prettiest places in Scottsdale: The Canal Club, located inside The Scott Resort.

The Canal Club has all the right elements for the perfect date night: an intriguing atmosphere, sophisticated spirits, and a deliciously fresh menu!
After being greeted by The Scott Resort’s elegant entrance, we walked into our own little Havana night. Be sure to grab a drink at this Cuban-inspired gem to get warmed up for a little, friendly game of chess, which the bar has out for your enjoyment! If you like winning on a regular basis, join the club every Wednesday from 5-10pm where they brining back the Cuban tradition of board games on the porch – you can even find dominoes there too! Happy Hour pricing is available to all players on this Juegos Night from 7-9pm.

I’m in love with the design of The Canal Club. Even without the great food, this place is the perfect spot for date night in Phoenix – I mean those banquettes alone are worth lingering a long time over with your love. If you do like eating, though, we’d highly recommend the ceviche for starters. Sorry we downed it faster than we could snap a pic! You won’t be able to resist the Pulled Chicken Torta, filled with green chilies, caramelized onions, and Oaxaca cheese either. ¡Delicoso!
